England – Maggie Taylor, a cherished member of her community and family, tragically passed away on November 8, 2024, after a prolonged battle with dementia.
Diagnosed in 2020, Maggie's condition required her to be placed at Oak Tree Mews care home, where she was given dedicated care during her final years.
Her passing has left family and friends heartbroken, and in her memory, loved ones are raising funds for dementia research to honor her legacy.
Keighley Oliver, who organized the fundraiser for Dementia Research UK, shared a heartfelt message, remembering Maggie as “a very loved person, with a heart of gold.”
The campaign aims to support the ongoing fight against dementia, a cause Maggie was personally connected to, and to help others affected by the disease.
"Anything is much appreciated," the family wrote in the fundraiser’s description, expressing their gratitude for the community's support.
Maggie’s family, including Ian, Cheryl, Gerald, and others, are deeply mourning her loss while celebrating the positive impact she had on everyone around her.
